Renewable.  Clean.  Simple.

[8.1]

Unlike  coal, fossil fuels, nuclear and other non-renewable energy sources, these alternative energy sources  emit little to no green house gases.

Sadly, a lot of people doubt the legitimacy of renewable energy.  In fact, Jeff Siegel, co-founder of Green Chip Stocks, comes across them all the time.

"So it was really no surprise when, during my most recent meeting, the first question I received was from a gentleman who wanted to know why I would be so bullish on solar when there was no way it could ever generate more than just one or two percent of our overall power needs. Instinctively, I pointed to the NREL study which indicated that enough electric power for the entire country could be generated by covering 9 percent of Nevada with parabolic trough systems. This is a plot of land roughly 100 miles on each side. His eyes rolled, and a snicker followed." [8.2]

Yes, there are few variables to renewable energy, but it has great potential.  Just as any other industry, it all started with an idea  a seemingly crazy, but powerful idea.  So crazy, that some might just doubt it.

As with any growing industry, science and research will bring new ideas that could only improve our technology and undoubtedly lead to a better future.

With global warming on the rise and our ecosystem rapidly degenerating, our generation cannot afford to be close minded.  Help the environment.  Save the future.  Trust renewable energy.
